Regular visitors to my little blog will know that on a couple of days a week, we drive the ambulance for the RSPCA in Swansea. Today we had to take a beautiful grey and white cat, aged possibly about two years, to the vet for a check-up, after she arrived at the Centre. She had been brought in by one of the Animal Collection Officers from Mountain Ash where she had been found straying in the past couple of days. (more…)

Firstly……the TV news and the newspapers have been filled with the reports of the cruise ship MV Explorer which emulated the Titanic in the Southern Ocean, hitting an iceberg and sinking.
Yesterday, I caught a snatch of something interesting on Breakfast TV.

The Welsh legend , Ray Gravell died suddenly last night in Mallorca where he was on holiday with his family.
Following his dreadful year, healthwise, we had been delighted to see him back on the box last week.
What a shock!
