Home grown food
Despite only having only a tiny garden, we are enjoying growing things in tubs this year.
Onions, cabbages, leeks, carrots, parsnips, rhubarb, raspberries, gooseberries, strawberries, lots of different herbs, tomatoes(Gardeners’ Delight and Plum) , peppers, aubergines and of course, good old radishes.

It is a pity that such easy to grow things as radishes are not particularly attractive taste-wise to children as they would make an excellent entry point into a hobby that could bring a life time of enjoyment.
The recent rain has seen a great spurt in growth in the tubs, and we shall be having spinach as part of our evening meal tonight.
If the home designed bird deterrent cages do their job well, we should be eating strawberries soon too
