Prison or Suspended sentence ?
How can it be right to give paedophiles suspended sentences because the prisons are too full, when a journalist who has tapped into the voice-mails of some of the Royal Family gets a custodial sentence? Where did these unavailable cells suddenly manifest themselves?
Who poses the greater threat to the public, and particularly to children?
Although neither would be my first choice as a neighbour, I know which I would prefer less!
